8 cups cucumbers w/skins
1/4 cup salt
1 tray ice cubes
Let stand until ice is melted. Stir, drain and rinse.

1-2 sliced/diced sweet onion
1 sliced/diced sweet onion
Add to cucumbers.

Mix and pour over cucumbers:
2 cups vinegar
2 cups sugar
1 tsp celery seed
1/4 - 1/2 cup mustard seed

Stir and refrigerate. Keeps for many months.
