Follow cake mix instructions except for baking using a large glass baking dish:

1 cake mix (I used chocolate, but you can also use a yellow cake)

For lava, mix the following and strudel over above mentioned raw cake batter:

2 cups cold milk
1 1/4 cups water
2 packages of instant Jell-O pudding
1/3 cup sugar

(I used chocolate, but you can also use vanilla or banana)

Bake at 350 for 1 hour
Put a pan under the cake in case it overflows.
Mine hasn’t ever, but the recipe calls for it.

Once baked, sprinkle with:

2 tbsp powdered sugar (may use a shifter, shaker or mesh strainer)
